Shooting leaves one dead,
one injured

On Friday, October 2, police responded to 113-37 205 Street, where they discovered two men sitting in a car, both of whom had been shot.
The first victim, 35, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, was shot several times. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition. The other victim, 40, was shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made as of yet and an investigation is ongoing.
