Traffic stop nets cocaine

            A traffic stop of a stolen vehicle led to the arrest of one man and the recovery of six kilos of cocaine.

On Monday, August 2, in the vicinity of 80-49 68^th Road, officers assigned to the Patrol Borough Queens North Auto Larceny unit conducted a car stop of a stolen 2006 blue Chrysler Pacifica. The driver, Edwin Andujar, 33, fled, but after a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended without incident. 

Upon further investigation the officers discovered six kilos of cocaine inside the stolen vehicle.

Andujar was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, grand larceny auto and criminal possession of stolen property.
