A 69-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a seven-year-old girl between September and November of this year.
Police were notified of the crimes after one of the victims told her mother that the bus driver had touched her over her clothing several times in the past two months. The victim’s mother notified police, who conducted an investigation.
As a result, two additional victims (female), ages 8 and 9, were identified. The other victims also told police that the bus driver had touched them over their clothes. The driver was identified as Nelson Painchault and questioned, and as a result, was charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
