SCHOOL EVENTS
Students at The School for Language and Communication Development (SLCD) invited their grandparents to attend school with them for a portion of the day on October 26. Students were excited to show off their classroom and introduce their friends and teachers to their grandparents. In some classes, the grandparents read to the students, in others they sat next to their grandchild’s desk and participated in an art and crafts activity, and still in others they simply sat next to their grandchild and listened as the students learned their daily curriculum.
