Howard Beach Kiwanis Club annual dinner dance

The Howard Beach Kiwanis Club held its 49th annual dinner dance at Roma View on Friday, April 15. This year, the Clem Vicari Award went to Joe De Candia of Lenny’s Clam Bar and Roma View for his exemplary dedication to the community; the 30-year membership award went to Frank DiSaftano; and honorees were Gene Greco, immediate past president; former lieutenant governor Wayne Scherriff; Angelo Gurino of Rag Time; Logan Bus Company; Jeff Liberman, owner, Howard Beach Apothecary; and the De Candia family for all their support, including Clara, Doreen and Juliet.
