Tony Raouf relocated to America over 25 years ago, with only his good health and ambition. He immediately was drawn to real estate and brokered several large mixed used transactions in Queens.
He then made the shift to principal, acquiring numerous residential and retail properties. It was during a visit to an industrial section of Queens that he found his true calling – the restaurant business. The neighborhood was rough and underdeveloped but Raouf could instantly see its potential. The neighborhood was Long Island City and it is where Raouf opened his first restaurant, Riverview Restaurant and Lounge. Raouf also lives in Long Island City and he is a supporter of the local artist community.
