FLUSHING — A man leapt out of a second-story window last month after he was stabbed in the head in his Union Street apartment, according to documents from the Queens district attorney.
Dongkui Yin, of Brooklyn, followed the man into his apartment near the corner of Northern Boulevard at about 10:15 p.m. Nov. 30, the DA said.
Yin pulled out a large knife and stabbed the man in the head, according to the DA.
In order to escape, the man jumped out of a second-story window, broke his ankle and at one point passed out from blood loss, the DA said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he received staples in his head and other treatments, according to DA documents.
When police arrested Yin the next day, officers found multiple clothing items covered in blood, the DA said.
