The Greater Ridgewood Historical Society (GRHS) invited local Girl Scouts to help open the new exhibit at the Vander Ende-Onderdonk House celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of America. The exhibit, titled “Reflecting the Past, Promise of the Future-Celebrating 100 Years of Girl Scouting,” is on display through April at the Onderdonk House, which is open to the public on Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and by appointment. Among those on hand for the opening of the exhibit were GRHS President Linda Monte (foreground, at left); Barbara Murphy-Warrington, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Greater New York and Cheryl Swiatkowski, board member (back row, center right and left); Richard Asbell, curator (back row, second from right); and Mary Ann Walter, exhibit committee chair (back row, at far right). They are shown along with membrers of the Girl Scouts Troop 4169 based at St. Matthias Parish in Ridgewood.
