FOREST HILLS – Police were seeking information about a suspect in the robberies of three Chase banks on Queens Boulevard last month.
According to the NYPD, the suspect is described as a 6-foot black man, who is about 30 years old and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds. The man has a thin build, dark-skin complexion and a long face, according to police.
During the most recent robbery – at about 9 a.m. last Thursday – a man went into the Chase bank, located at 104-17 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills, and allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding money, police said. When the teller did not hand over any cash, the suspect allegedly fled empty handed, according to the NYPD.
During a previous robbery on Valentine’s Day at a Chase branch, located at 47-11 Queens Blvd. in Sunnyside, the suspect also allegedly fled without getting any money, police said.
However, the suspect allegedly made away with an undisclosed amount of money after passing a note on Feb. 3 to a teller at the bank, located at 95-38 Queens Blvd. in Rego Park, according to the NYPD.
