Sunnyside Reformed Church hosted Carol Sudhalter’s Astoria Jazz Band last Saturday, Apr. 21, with David Amram, the composer of music for the films Splendor in the Grass and The Manchurian Candidate, as their special guest. Amram conducted a Q&A session, while the band played several selections and held a jam session.
