In celebration of Women’s History Month, City Council Member Karen Koslowitz recently appointed a Forest Hills teen as the 29th District Council Member of the Day. As noted, Michelle Coleman-an intern at Koslowitz’s office-is a junior at St. Agnes Academic High School in College Point and plans on attending Queens College following her graduation in 2013. Accompanying Koslowitz to a City Council meeting at City Hall, Coleman introduced a bill requiring the Department of Transportation to be more transparent in notifying community boards and City Council members of changes.
