Family members of Anthony Delgado of Bushwick, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident five years ago, recently gathered with City Council Member Erik Martin Dilan to rename the corner where he was struck in his honor. Among those shown with the legislator was Thomas Cruz, the child’s father. Delgado was fatally struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Central Avenue and Palmetto Street on Apr. 29, 2007 as the 13-year-old was riding his bicycle. Reportedly, the case remains under investigation by the NYPD.
