LOIS M. ARCURI (nee MILLER) of Glendale died on Thursday, May 3, at the age of 71. A native of Flushing, she was a graduate of St. Andrew Avellino School and St. Agnes Aca- demic High School. She was the beloved wife of Vincent Arcuri, loving mother of Pamela, Christina and Walter Kotnik, Jacqueline and David Capobianco and Vincent James Arcuri and cherished grandmother of Francesca Kruk, Stephanie Kotnik and Jenna and Matthew Capobianco. She was also a cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and was loved by all in her community and parish. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday, May 8, at St. Pancras Church, Glendale, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

JOSEPH J. MERLINO of Charlottesville, Va., formerly of Glendale, died on Tuesday, May 1, at the age of 95 at his home, in the company of his family. He dedicated oer 30 years of service to his native State of New York as a manager for the New York State Department of Labor until his retirement. His love of golf, bowling and Scrabble could only be surpassed by his love and devotion to his family. Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years, Marcella, and daughter Bernadette. He is survived by children Thomas and Anne, Kathleen and Phillip and Elizabeth, six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, May 5, at St. Raphael Church, East Meadow, L.I., followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under the direction of O’Shea Funeral Home, 2515 North Jerusalem Rd., East Meadow.

MARGARET B. MIKOLESKI died on Monday, April 30, at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of Walter A. Mikoleski, loving mother of Lawrence Mikoleski and William Mikoleski, cherished grandmother of Christina, Patricia, Cynthia, Denise and Alison and great-grandmother of Christian, Michael, Tyler, Austin, Frank and Ava. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, May 2, at St. Adalbert Church, Elmhurst, followed by cremation at All Souls Crematory, East Elmhurst, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ROSE ANN PAUCIULLO died on Monday, April 30, at the age of 59. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Pauciullo, loving mother of Andrew Pauciullo, Christine Grossfeld and Danielle Bonaccorso, mother-in-law of Jeffrey and John, cherished grandmother of Daniel, Gabrielle, Madison, Alena and Frank and dear sister of Lucille. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, May 4, at Our Lady of Grace Church, Howard Beach, followed by interment at North Babylon Cemetery, Babylon, L.I., under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

KELLIE WILLIAMS of Central Islip, L.I., died on Friday, May 4, at the age of 67. She was a native of Mobile, Ala. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

HAZEL BROWN of Ridgewood died on Thursday, May 3, at the age of 69. A native of Jamaica, she was the beloved companion of Clemon McBean and devoted mother of Olive McBean, Gavin McBean, Edward Brown and Laurence McBean. Services were offered at graveside at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, L.I., under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.
