Members of Cub Scout Packs 67 and 224 and Troops 26 and 96 celebrated the promotion of a Troop 96 member to the rank of Eagle Scout with a ceremony on Sunday night, Apr. 29, at Blessed Sacrament Church rectory in Cypress Hills. As shown, Kaome D. O’Faire (at center) received the “Eagle Scout Court of Honor”; he is an 18-year-old student of the Benjamin Banneker Academy in Clinton Hill. Joining other cub and boy scouts in honoring O’Faire were Cub Master Bradley Wilkens (standing in rear, second from left), Lashawna O’Faire (foreground, third from right), Cub Master of Pack 244 and Kaome’s mother, and Gordon Mark (at far right), master of Cub Pack 67.
