Digging In for Sunnyside Park Renovations

City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer and Borough President Helen Marshall joined Board 2 District Manager Debra Markell-Kleinert, Queens Parks officials and local residents with shovels in hand to kick off the start of renovations to Torsney Playground in Sunnyside last Friday, Sept. 14. The work will include renovations to the softball field and basketball and volleyball courts, as well as the creation of a dog run, and is expected to conclude next summer.
