Queensboro Hill woman dies in Manhattan: Cops

MANHATTAN — A Queensboro Hill woman was struck by a yellow taxi and killed on the Upper East Side Monday, according to the NYPD.

Police said 65-year-old Pelagia Zingatan was struck around 1 p.m. by a yellow cab travelling west on 69th Street near 1st Avenue.

She was removed to New York Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
