Woodside Civic Leader Honored with St. Naming

The corner of 58th Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside was renamed “Martin M. Trainor Way” last Saturday, Sept. 29 in honor of the late cofounder of the Woodside on the Move organization. Among those at the ceremony were (from right to left) City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer, Rep. Joseph Crowley, Martin Trainor’s son Michael, Assemblywoman Margaret Markey, Michael Trainor’s wife Bernadette and son Thomas.
