Dominate Indoor Games & Tourneys

For the last two weekends, various teams from the Blau Weiss Gottschee program dominated the indoor play and won numerous tournaments.

In each one of the tournaments, from the youngest teams to the oldest teams, the style of play enforced by Blue Weiss Gottschee is prominent.

Here are some results:

– BWG U10 Blue played in the soccer coliseum tournament on Jan. 12, ending as undefeated champions. They will be invited to play the tournaments of champions in early March.

– BWG U10 White won the Chelsea Piers finals against Chelsea Piers, winning 2-1 in the overtime.

– BWG U11 White had a terrific weekend at the CJSL Indoor Championship, winning resoundingly by a 6-1 margin in the U12A finals to take home the championship trophy against Barboncito.

– BWG U13 Blue team pulled off a double win on Sunday. The team was split into two and crowned champions in separate tournaments in Teaneck, N.J. and upstate Suffern at the same time. In Teaneck, the team beat world class 2-0, while in Suffern the team faced their younger pre-academy team, the BWG 2000 team and won 1-0.

The U10 White team won the Chelsea Piers final.

– BWG U14 girls won the tournament at Queens College. In the final, the girls won against Black Diamonds all-star team 3-0.

– BWG U18 Blue dominated the play and won the Clarkstown tournament with a decisive win against FC Poland 5-0.
