Gas Blast at Home In Howard Beach

Paramedics rushed a Howard Beach woman to a hospital with serious injuries after her house exploded last Wednesday afternoon, May 29, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blast- believed to have been caused by a gas leak-occurred at around 2:30 p.m. at a home on 163rd Avenue near 84th Street. The victim is expected to make a recovery from her injuries, sources said.
