Weekend Disruptions Continue On 7 Line

Due to scheduled maintenance, 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square-42nd Street will be suspended this weekend, from 2 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 22, until 5 a.m. Monday, Mar. 24. During this period, 7 trains will only operate between Queensboro Plaza and Main Streetelevator Flushing.

As alternate service this weekend, the Q train will operate between 57th Street in Manhattan and Astoria- Ditmars Boulevard on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.

For service between Queens and Manhattan, transfer to the N or Q trains at Queensboro Plaza or Times Square-42nd Street or the E or F trains at 74th Street-Roosevelt Avenue.

Free shuttle buses will replace 7 trains in Long Island City between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue. These buses will stop at Queens Plaza for access to the E or R trains.

The shuttle buses will stop at 7 train stations as follows:

– Queensboro Plaza-on 27th Street at Queens Plaza South;

– Queens Plaza-on Jackson Avenue at Orchard Avenue;

– Court Square-23rd Street-on Jackson Avenue at 45th Avenue (to Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue) or at Thomson Avenue (to Queensboro Plaza);

– Hunters Point Avenue-on 21st Street at 49th Avenue;

– Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue-on Vernon Boulevard at 50th Avenue.

Weekday J, M Trains Skip Wmbg. Stations

Jamaica Center-bound J trains and Middle Village-bound M trains will skip the Hewes Street, Lorimer Street and Flushing Avenue stations on Wednesdays through Fridays from 9:45 a.m. until 3 p.m. through Friday, Apr. 11.

For service to these stations, take the J or M train to Myrtle Avenue, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J or M train. For service from these stations, take the J or M train to Marcy Avenue (only for riders with Unlimited MetroCards) or Essex Street, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound J train or a Middle Village-bound M train.

It was noted that Manhattan-bound J trains will end quickstop service at 9:45 a.m. Wednesdays through Fridays until Apr. 11. All Manhattanbound J trains will stop at Flushing Avenue, Lorimer Street and Hewes Street after that time.

Weekend Interruption On J Line In Brooklyn

Jamaica Center-bound J trains will operate express service between Marcy Avenue and Broadway Junction this weekend, from 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 22, until 10 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 23. This service change will be in effect each weekend through Apr. 13.

It was noted that Jamaica Centerbound J trains will still make the Myrtle Avenue stop during this service change.

For service to the Hewes Street, Lorimer Street, Flushing Avenue, Kosciuszko Street, Gates Avenue, Halsey Street and Chauncey Street stations, take the J train to Myrtle Avenue or Broadway Junction, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound J train.

For service from these stations, take the J train to Myrtle Avenue, Marcy Avenue (Unlimited MetroCard holders only) or Essex Street, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound J train .

More Split Service

On L Line In Bklyn.

L trains will operate in two sections-between Eighth Avenue and Broadway Junction and between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway-on Monday and Tuesday, Mar. 24-25, from 11 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. Riders can transfer between L trains at Broadway Junction to continue their trip.

It was noted that all L trains between Rockaway Parkway and Broadway Junction will operate every 24 minutes. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Service To, From F.H. Ends Early On M Line

M trains will end service early between 47th-50th Streets in Manhattan and 71st-Continental Avenue in Forest Hills on Monday, Mar. 24, through Thursday, Mar. 27. During this period, M trains will operate between Metropolitan Avenue-Middle Village and 47th-50th Streets, then switch over to the F line and terminate at 57th Street.

The last Forest Hills-bound M train will depart Metropolitan Avenue at 8:46 p.m. and the last Middle Village-bound M train will depart 71st-Continental Avenues at 9:08 p.m.

As alternate service, the R train will make all local stops between Queens Plaza and 71st-Continental Avenues; the E train will make all M stops between Fifth Avenue-53rd Street and 71st-Continental Avenues; and the F train will make all local stops between 21st Street- Queensbridge and 71st-Continental Avenues.

No Weekend Express For Jam. E & F Trains

Jamaica Center-bound E trains will make all local stops between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue-and Jamaica-bound F trains will make all local stops between 21st Street-Queensbridge and Roosevelt Avenue-every weekend from 12:30 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday through Apr. 7. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

Late Night Service Slowed On G Line

All G trains will operate every 20 minutes in both directions late nights, Monday through Thursday, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Thursday, Apr. 3. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.

A Trains Won’t Run To Far Rockaway

A trains will not operate between Broad Channel and Mott Avenue-Far Rockaway this weekend, from 11 p.m. Friday, Mar. 21, until 5 a.m. Monday, Mar. 24. During this periods, A trains will operate between 207th Street in Manhattan and Broad Channel, then replace the Rockaway Park Shuttle between Broad Channel and Rockaway Park-Beach 116th Street.

Shuttle buses will provide alternate service between Mott Avenue and Beach 90th Street, where riders can pick up or depart the A train.

N Trains Skip Stops To Astoria Weekdays

Astoria-bound N trains will skip the 39th Avenue, 36th Avenue, Broadway and 30th Avenue stations on Tuesday, Mar. 25, through Friday, Mar. 28, from 10:15 a.m. until 3 p.m. During this period, Q trains will not operate between 57th Avenue and Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard.

For service to the skipped stations, take the N train to Astoria Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound N train. For service from these stations, take the N train to Queensboro Plaza, then transfer to an Astoria-bound N train.
