The Greater Ridgewood Historical Society (GRHS) held a wine tasting event at the Onderdonk House in Ridgewood Saturday, Apr. 5, where oenophiles took part in a sampling of fine spirts. The GRHS holds many events throughout the year at the Vander Ende-Onderdonk House, located at 1820 Flushing Ave. in Ridgewood, the oldest Dutch Colonial stone house in New York City. In the group photo at the event are several GRHS members, including Linda Monte, president, Virginia Comber, director, Peter Comber, treasurer, Steve Monte, vice president, Rein Olvet, director, Richard Asbell, curator and directors Barbara and Bruce Goonan, and Tom and Donna Dowd.
