CATHERINE M. BARRA (née TUBRIDY) of Glendale died on
Sunday, November 9. She was the loving wife of Walter F., cherished
mother of Thomas, William, Deborah Dempsey (Peter) and James
(Deanna), devoted grandmother of Peter, Jacqueline and Brian
Dempsey and James A. Barra, beloved sister to Joseph (Nancy), Ann
Fee, Martin (Marlene) and the late John Tubridy and caring sister in
law of Mildred McCann, Rita Augusta and the late Anna Hugli and
Marie Stein. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces and
nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Hillebrand
Funeral Home, 63-17 Woodhaven Blvd., Rego Park.

GUIOMAR HENAO died on Sunday, November 9, at the age of 73.
She was the beloved wife of Ancizar, loving mother of Diana Conti
and the late Claudia, cherished grandmother of Veronica and Kyle and
dear sister of Martha Mai and NormaAguirre. She is also survived by
numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered on Wednesday, November 12, at St. Adalbert’s
Church, Elmhurst, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery,
Kew Gardens, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27
Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ELIZABETH M. NOLAN of Ridgewood died on Friday, November
7, at the age of 92. A native of Brooklyn, she was the wife of the late
Richard. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, followed by cremation at
Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

TERESA KASPARIAN died on Wednesday, November 5, in
Niceville, Fla. at the age of 91. She was the wife of the late George
Kasparian, loving mother of Jean Materese, mother-in-law of Frank
and cherished grandmother of Frank, Michael and Matthew. Services
were offered on Monday, November 10, at Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at All Faiths
Cemetery, Middle Village.

DEBBIE ANN SOSA of
Ridgewood died on Friday,
October 31, at the age of 60.
She was the dear sister of
Bridget, Diane, Nora, Eddie,
Jimmy and Marjie. A Mass of

followed by interment at the
Cemetery of the Evergreens,
Brooklyn, under the direction
of George Werst Funeral

FREDERICK “FRED” W.
KUMP, 90, of Ephrata, Pa.
passed away Sunday,
November 2, at the Mt. Joy
Hospice Center in Ephrata.
Born January 4, 1924, he was
the son of the late John and
Pauline (Wittrich) Kump. He
was the husband of the late
Margaret H. (nee Kuhn) Kump
who died June 18, 2008.
Fred retired from the New
York City Sanitation
Department where he was a
foreman for more the 21 years.
He is survived by two
children, William J. Kump of
Ephrata and Marilyn Wolf of
Long Island; grandchildren,
William, Peter, Zachary,
William and Ashley; and four
great grandchildren.
