An 84-year-old man fell to his death from a 12th-floor balcony in Far Rockaway Sunday night, according to authorities.
At about 9:57 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about a man in need of help in the back of 76-00 Shore Front Pkwy. Upon arriving, cops found the victim unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head and body, police said.
Emergency personnel responded to the site and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police later determined the elderly victim – whose identity is pending family notification – was on the 12th-floor balcony at the Shore Front Parkway address before falling off.
The investigation is still ongoing.
