By Madina Toure

ASTORIA—Police were looking for a man who allegedly stole a woman’s bank information at a bank in Astoria at the end of January.

At about 8:25 p.m. Jan. 28, the suspect used a card with a 28-year-old woman’s bank information inside Investors Bank at 23-02 31st St. between the Ditmars and Steinway neighborhoods to make unauthorized withdrawals at an ATM, according to the police.

The suspect withdrew about $649, police said.

The victim was still in possession of her debit card at the time of the transactions, officials said.

Police described the suspect as a male with a beard who was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and a dark-colored ski cap.

No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing, according to a police spokeswoman.
