Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who took off with a small fortune in surgical supplies from a dental office in Flushing last month.
At around 11:54 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, an individual entered the rear office of Preferred Dental Care, located at 164-10 45th Ave. The suspect removed a box of surgical glasses valued at $1,600 and then fled the building in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white male with a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, a dark colored jacket, blue jeans, a multi-colored scarf and light colored sneakers.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
