A 25-year-old man took his own life during a domestic dispute that occurred in front of the 106th Precinct’s headquarters in Ozone Park on Friday morning, it was reported.

Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at 9:03 a.m. on Oct. 26 inside of a Infiniti vehicle parked in front of the stationhouse on 101st Street between 103rd and Liberty Avenues.

Citing information provided by the precinct, Community Board 10 reported on its Facebook page that the 25-year-old man got into a fight with his partner, then pulled out a gun and shot himself.

Responding officers from the precinct found the man behind the wheel of the Infiniti with a gunshot wound to his head, police said. The weapon was recovered at the scene; police did not provide information about the man’s partner.

Paramedics rushed to the location and brought the man to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The NYPD has withheld his identity, pending family notification.

No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
