Intro to Yoga: Forward Bends and Twists (Queensbridge Park)
Interested in yoga with a riverside view? Enjoy the basics of yoga with instructor Sayde Wilson. Abolitionist’s Plant Walk (MOMA PS1)
Join multidisciplinary artist and activist Jackie Sumell for a walk through Long Island City to explore the connection between nature and abolition. Learn how plants have been part of the resistance, communicating freedom and liberation, and explore the hierarchical linguistic threads between ecological biases and human biases. National Chemistry Week (NCW) is a public awareness campaign that promotes the value of chemistry in everyday life. Join the Hall of Science for this year’s theme, “Fabulous Fibers: The Chemistry of Fabrics,” where the American Chemical Society will host a free event from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Tin Roof Gallery is celebrating their 1 year anniversary with ghoulishly talented artists. They will highlight the beauty of horror, dark fantasy, mystery, and the supernatural.
