Councilman Robert Holden’s office is teaming up with the LES Ecology Center on Earth Day for an electronic waste recycling event in Maspeth.

On Saturday, April 22, from noon to 4 p.m., residents will have the chance to properly dispose of televisions, VCRs and other electronics at Maspeth Federal Savings Bank, located at 56-18th 69th St.

Holden said that he was excited to partner with the LES Ecology Center for the e-waste recycling event.

“I am thrilled to support the LES Ecology Center and its efforts to protect our environment while providing a convenient solution for constituents to dispose of their electronic waste properly,” Holden said.

Holden said that he is proud to hold the annual e-waste recycling event.

“It’s a win-win for our community,” Holden said.
