Bomb scare at LaGuardia Airport in 1960 fizzles out

EAST ELMHURST – A 36-year-old East Elmhurst man was fatally shot in a traffic dispute on 94th Street near LaGuardia Airport Tuesday night, police said.
Authorities said Chris Kenner, of 105-15 31st Ave. in East Elmhurst, and his brother Leroy Kenner, 45, of 89-84 Hollis Court Blvd. in Jamaica, attacked another man just after 7 p.m. on the service road near the airport at 94th Street.
