Far Rockaway man killed, five teenagers hurt in shooting

Kevin McPhaul of 433 Beach 40th St. was shot in the pelvis when the shooting began shortly after 8 p.m. at 43rd Street and Beach Channel Drive, police said.

18-year-old shot in Rockaways

The 18-year-old, who was not identified, was taken to Peninsula General Hospital after a bullet hit his right leg at the corner of Beach 43rd Street and Beach Channel Drive, the paper reported.
