Several Bayside civic leaders aired their concerns about quality-of-life issues like traffic safety during a meeting with 111th Precinct representatives Tuesday afternoon.
Civic leaders Frank Skala, East Bayside Homeowners Association president; Mandingo Tshaka, Bayside Clear-Springs Council president; and Andy Ippolito, Property Civic Association president, attended the meeting organized by Skala. Several other community activists joined the discussion.
Skala said he set up the meeting with 111th Precinct Capt. Anthony Mullen, Special Operations Lt. Dan Heffernan and Community Affairs Officers Anthony Lombardi and Santo Elardo to head off problems that tend to worsen in the summer and early fall months.
