Countrywide Home Loans Free Seminar

On Tuesday, June 20, Countrywide Home Loans, in conjunction with the Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City, will offer a free seminar in Jamaica outlining the home-buying process and steps that those interested need to take in order to make the American dream of owning their own home a reality.
“It’s for first-time homebuyers designed to take people through the home-buying process from beginning to end, identifying the parties involved in the whole process,” said Bruce Davis, Branch Manager for Countrywide Home Loans in Forest Hills, who will be speaking at the seminar. “At the seminars, you generally find people who are hungry for information.”
Although the seminar is generally geared towards first-time homebuyers, it can help give direction to people no matter how far along they are in the process.
“We want to be able to help them whether they are in the process or looking to get into the process that prepares them for the home ownership journey,” Davis said.
During the seminar, attendees will learn about the pros and cons of home ownership as well as some of the potential pitfalls consumers may face throughout the process. Countrywide Home Loans and Neighborhood Housing Services have put on a number of free seminars in the past.
“Historically they are very well attended and well received,” Davis said.
The seminar will take place on June 20, from 6-8 p.m. at 89-70 162nd Street in Jamaica. There is no fee to attend the event, but those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to reserve a space by calling 718-732-8045.
