Edward T. Leavey, a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War, passed away on November 20. Beloved husband of Anna Mary. Pre-deceased by his brothers, Joseph and Bro. John Mel Leavey C.F.C.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Leavey was the past president and historian of the Longford Men's Association.
Arrangements were handled by the Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home in Rego Park. A Mass of Christian burial was held at Our Lady of Hope Church, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the Leavey Family.
