By Howard Koplowitz

Michael Estrella, 17, of 78-21 90th Rd. in Woodhaven, was charged Monday with gang assault, assault and criminal possession of a weapon for his involvement in the stabbing death of 20-year-old Gerlin Collado of 685 East 5th St. in Manhattan, police said.

Collado was stabbed multiple times by the five teens at around 3:10 a.m. Sunday on the northbound platform of a Brooklyn train station near New Lots and Vansindren avenues, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Estrella and the four other teens fled on a departing train, but police boarded at a nearby station and arrested them, authorities said.
