Vice President of Manufacturing
Crystal Window & Door Systems

The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) recently honored Jimmy Jin, Vice President of Manufacturing of Crystal Window & Door Systems as one of the 2007 Fifty Outstanding Asian-Americans in Business.
“I am deeply honored to receive this award. To be part of the Crystal dynasty of successful executives is particularly rewarding,” said Jin.
“When I joined Crystal, it was a very small company. There were about forty people and now there are 350-400 people working here,” said Jin.
The award recognizes Asian-American executives and entrepreneurs who have made a significant difference in their communities along with corporate America. The award also promotes the contributions Asian-American businesses have made to the economy. Jin is the fifth executive in the company to receive this prominent award over the past ten years.
“I moved from China in 1990 and in 1992 I joined Crystal,” said Jin. He has been a part of the company for fifteen years.
In the past, Jin has held a variety of positions involving the production, sales, shipping, and purchasing departments. Currently, he often works 11-12 hour days from Monday through Saturday.
He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hua Dong Technical University in Mainland China.
The award ceremony was held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan on June 22. The keynote speaker for the event was U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao.
