New-American Democratic Club of NYC Presents Awards

The New-American Democratic Club of NYC held its awards ceremony and dinner reception at the Taj Mahal catering hall. The evening’s honorees were Congressmember Gregory Meeks; Wanda Williams, a key leader of the largest Municipal Union, DC 37; Mohamed Aziz, a building contractor; Shiv Dass, a well-respected and successful business leader in Jackson Heights; Maf Misbah Uddin, the first Bangladeshi to lead a Municipal Union in America; ATN Bangla, the first Bangladeshi satellite TV station to broadcast in the U.S.A.; and Victoria Schneps-Yunis, publisher, The Queens Courier.
