BBA lights tree, lifts voices

The Bayside Business Association (BBA) held its ceremonial tree lighting on Bell Boulevard, right next to the Long Island Rail Road station on chilly evening recently.
Passers-by stopped briefly to take in the sight, before they headed off to warm homes or stores.
A hardy few stayed for the entire program: BBA Vice President Dominick Bruccoleri and BBA President Judy Limpert seem delighted as State Senator Frank Padavan, former Community Board 11 chair Jerry Iannece and Board member Frank Skala (left to right) as Santa Claus croon Christmas carols at the Thursday, December 6 event.
