Career Expert Joins CWNY

The Center for Women of New York (CWNY), which is based in Queens Borough Hall, announced recently that nationally recognized career coach Anne-Marie Ditta has joined their organization.
Ditta will be leading CWNY’s Job Club, a free program for individuals seeking employment. The Job Club features topics that include: How to Write a Resume that Gets Interviews, Keys to a Successful Job Search, and Interview Secrets that Will Get You Hired.
CWNY is a non-profit, volunteer organization driven by its mission to be a one-stop walk-in resource center for women, founded in 1987 by current Douglaston resident Ann Jawin.
Ditta is the owner and operator of First Impression Career Services, LLC, a career coaching and resume service. She is a highly credentialed practitioner has spoken at the Project Management Institute, the National Resume Writers Association, appeared on local television and radio, and has contributed to numerous books on resume writing.
In October 2007, Ditta presented a workshop on “Successful Job Search” during CWNY’s “World of Working Women” Conference at the Sheraton-LaGuardia Hotel in Flushing.
According to a spokesperson, “The addition of Ms. Ditta is part of CWNY’s expansion of its programs in anticipation of its permanent home in a landmark building at Fort Totten.”
The Job Club will have sessions on alternate Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon, in Room 325 at Queens Borough Hall, 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens.
