Wang began his musical career at just 4 years old, when he was enrolled in the Taiwan Youth Genius Program. Considered a child prodigy, Wang immigrated to the United States at age 10 to further his classical music studies. Since then Wang has studied and performed across the world receiving numerous honors and awards both locally and internationally. One such honor was the Flushing Rotary Club's Career Grant, which was given to Wang by the charitable club in 2005. Wang returns to Flushing for a benefit concert jointly presented by Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts and the Rotary Club of Flushing.
