Is “life” working for you? If we do what we have always done, we will always get what we have always gotten. Want something different? Then something, namely ourselves, has to make a change.
We’re standing on an overcrowded, fragile planet and we are sharing that experience with six billion other humans. Each of us is a microcosm of the bigger picture with all sorts of energy blending whether we are conscious of it or not.
It’s important to remember, we breathe the air that others exhale and we are susceptible to other people’s emotions…good, bad or indifferent. Each one of us is exquisitely sensitive and, as times get more stressful, we feel any number of vibrations, some ours and some others, consciously or subconsciously in body, mind and spirit.
We are walking, talking, interacting fields of electromagnetic energy with potential to attract or repel. It could be said that we are the equivalent of an atom existing in a chaotic orbit merging, colliding and collapsing.
Like other electromagnetic fields, we can attract and repel and our attitudes, emotions and health are always an extension of our souls merging with various factors. As an example, think about how easy it is to relate to others when we are feeling up, grateful and joyful. It’s as though we are magnets when we are upbeat. We experience much the same feeling when we are down or angry, guilty or worrisome.
Since low vibrational energies are just as magnetic as high vibrations we can exercise free will and choose who and what we want to attract by keeping a more positive state of mind. That’s not to say it isn’t work, but so is trying to deal with the result of not making the more positive and conscious choice.
Self-talk is important. Emotionally take a step back and give yourself a good talking to. Study the lay of the land. Also, be a bit selfish and find the “space” to get clear about what you want. Also, invite the opinion of someone you respect and trust.
Understand what’s responsible for the good vibrations or the not so good ones as well. Psychologists call this cognitive therapy. Yes, you can be your own shrink. Shrink your ego, get out of your own way, think positive and get ready for change.
Nothing changes if nothing changes.
Here are four simple steps to being proactive in attracting what you really want:
Step 1: This is easy. Think about what you don’t want.
Step 2: This is more difficult. Think about what you really do want. Make sure you really want it, too; sometimes “luck” is not getting what you want.
Step 3: Get really comfortable with what you want as though you already have it. Gratitude is one incredible magnet. Express it everyday.
Step 4: Listen for the rhythm of the universal energy, expect what you want to happen, invite it and open yourself up to it.
It will take some practice because you will consciously have to give up misery and see the glass half full. Some people love to complain and too many are afraid of success. Yes, you did read that right. There are far more people fearful of success than of failure. With success comes responsibility. Failures in life bear no responsibility for it’s everyone else’s fault they failed, and blame is their game.
As you get into the rhythm of this extraordinary new journey, things seem to magically shift in many areas of your life.Worries and fears go from a constant black cloud looming to miracles unfolding in a matter of weeks. You can actually feel it happening every day.
Your attitude improves. Your health gets better. People say you look different. Your relationships get better. Every day brings the opportunity to celebrate a fresh start.
Let go of your fears and be open to attracting what you want.
There’s nothing standing in your way but you.
