More than 500 people gathered on the grass at Astoria Park to kick back and enjoy a Chapin family musical performance presented by the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition (CALDC).
“This special concert was a gift to the people of Queens from the Central Astoria LDC,” said CALDC president Julian Wager. “It is our great pleasure to present this ‘star studded’ waterfront entertainment to the world’s best audience.”
Queens Borough President Helen Marshall, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and corporate sponsor Astoria Energy helped make the concert possible.
