St. Albans Senator Malcolm A. Smith recognized Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s role in enabling more than 100 young adults to participate in the 4th Annual Todd Smith Jump and Ball Tournament co-sponsored by hip-hop artist and renowned actor LL Cool J and Taurus Associates.
“As sponsor of the Jump and Ball event, we are happy to help so many of our youth practice their teamwork and leadership skills in a positive and fun environment,” said Brian Sohalski, Regional Vice President for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “We are proud to be a part of an endeavor that has such a positive impact on the Queens community. ”
On Saturday, August 9 at the Daniel O’Connell Park in St. Albans, LL Cool J, Smith and more than 250 people gathered around center court to recognize all the people that made this event possible.
In addition to the sponsorship, dozens of Enterprise Rent-A-Car employees supported the event with more than 280 volunteer hours over the course of the month-long program that featured a myriad of activities such as competitive basketball games, double-dutch jump rope competitions, chess, tennis, karate and more.
