June 30 has come and gone and the circus government filled with senators who are a bunch of clowns did not resolve their differences. Now we have real serious issues as a result, one of them being mayoral control of city schools being lost.
What is important here is all city politicians from the mayor to the borough presidents, City Council members and others must work to prevent the school system from spiraling into chaos. With all of the other problems in this city, we cannot afford to have the public school system implode.
I think this circus charade in Albany has dragged on long enough. Let’s fire everyone up there, clean house and start all over with responsible state representatives who will put the concerns of the people of this city and state at the forefront of governing.
