FAR ROCKAWAY — A Queens woman filed aggravated harassment charges after allegedly receiving a peculiar and disturbing package from a former patient at the psychiatric hospital where she works, the Queens district attorney said.
Authorities said Geetanje Gopi, a former patient at a Manhattan psychiatric hospital where the victim worked, allegedly sent a Federal Express package to the victim’s Shore Front Parkway home.
The DA said the package, which arrived Aug. 16, had nails protruding from inside and letters that stated, “My wife is gone I miss you, ass, your a witch.”
Gopi, who was listed on the return address, was charged with harassment Aug. 19.
