Former Congressmember Herman Badillo has endorsed Mike Bloomberg for re-election as New York City Mayor. In addition, Nasir Awan, Chairman of the Pakistan Independence Day Parade and Fair Committee, is supporting Bloomberg.
Eric Gioia, running for Public Advocate, has received the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters, as well as Teamsters Joint Council 16. Most recently, the Uniformed Fire Officers Association have also announced their support for Gioia in his campaign.
In the race for mayor, Tony Avella has been endorsed by the League of Humane Voters.
John Choe has received support from 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East in his campaign for City Council District 20.
Mark Weprin, currently running for City Council District 23, has picked up an endorsement from The League of Conservation Voters.
Queens Democratic Assemblymember Jose Peralta has lent his support to Deidre Feerick as she attempts to be elected to City Council District 26. The Jim Owles Democratic Club has also thrown support towards Feerick.
