Not to worry, latte lovers, Starbucks is not going anywhere.
According to listing agent Dorothy Baran, of Howard Beach Realty, it is the lot to the left of the Starbucks at 157-41 Cross Bay Boulevard, currently owned by the Edgewater Corporation, that is for sale.
The 90×84 lot, “not part of the Starbucks lease,” has pre-approved plans for a medical building. The owners are subdividing the waterfront plot “for tax purposes,” and, with an asking price of $1.9 million, it comes with water rights.
Baran reiterated to The Courier that, “This absolutely does not affect Starbucks.”
