ACTS OF KINDNESS

This holiday season please remember to do a random act of kindness. Hold a door open for someone struggling with packages at the mall. Think before you honk your car horn. Yield for all pedestrians.
Put a smile on your face, slow down and enjoy your chores. Think before speaking and most of all, be patient. Lines will be long in every store and clerks will try their best to get to you next.
Go through your closets and pantries. Donate an old, serviceable outer garment to one of your neighborhood coat drives run by a house of worship or a local politician. See our listings of toy, coat and food drives in our issues every week.
Bring your extra food to the pantries listed or to any fire station in your neighborhood. Buy extra fixings for others when shopping for your holiday meals. You can make a difference and make someone less fortunate happy this holiday season.
One random act of kindness, multiplied by many, means more happiness for all.
