Holiday pickup changes

There will be no garbage and recycling collection and street cleaning on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25, according to the New York City Department of Sanitation.
Residents who typically receive collection on Saturday should put out their garbage and recyclables on the curb after 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 26. Regular sanitation services will resume on Monday, December 27. Their administrative offices will also be closed on Friday, December 24.
