There will be no curbside garbage or recycling pickup on Saturday, February 12 in observance of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, the New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) announced.
Residents who regularly have their garbage collected on Saturdays should place their trash outside on Friday, February 11 after 4 p.m. for pickup.
Recycling will not be collected for these residents until the following Saturday, February 19.
