The killer tornado that recently struck Joplin, Missouri, is another example
of Mother Nature’s awesome fury. It was so awful to see homes, businesses, churches, and hospitals destroyed or severely damaged. The death toll is now over 130 people, and, unfortunately, that is likely to increase as emergency crews continue their round the clock searches for the injured and dead. The entire nation needs to rally together and send supplies to Joplin.
We are all Americans, and this tragedy affects each and every one of us. Our hearts and prayers go out to the citizens of Joplin – you are not alone in your hour of need. We must help the people of this area to recover from this devastating display of Mother Nature’s fury.
